About Ink Clans
Ink Clans is a free checkers game you play in the browser. Every capture plays out as a hand-drawn martial arts fight on notebook paper. Play the computer, pass and play on one device, or send a link and play a friend online while others watch, across five rule sets and eight fighting clans.
What the game is
Ink Clans is real checkers with a show on top. The rules are the ones you know, in five rule sets from the classic American game to 10×10 International draughts; every capture turns into a short hand-drawn fight between two paper fighters, and you pick the finisher.
You can play the computer on three difficulty levels, pass and play with a friend on one device, or create an online match and send the link. Friends can watch a live match too. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Who makes it
Ink Clans is made by Leonel Meque, an independent developer based in Spain. The fighters, the board and the notebook-paper look are drawn in code in the browser; the voices, effects and music are recorded for the game.
The game is free to play and supported by ads from Google AdSense, shown between matches and never during one.
